Dr. Angela Tobin, the leader of Kinship Caregivers Connect presents on the unique experience of stepping into the role of a kinship caregiver, with the voices and stories caregivers highlighted throughout. Dr. Tobin provides an overview of kinship care, the strengths of caregivers, the lack of system supports, and how caregivers must adapt to this new role, bringing expertise from her background in occupational therapy and lived experience.
